Arkansas SkillsUSA relies on Business and Industry partners to provide support at the local and state level.   As a SkillsUSA partner, your organization can assist in building a skilled workforce right where you need it most-in your own community.

Students and instructors in local high schools, colleges, and technical schools form chapters.

These students are enrolled in programs that will prepare them for the world of work in technical, skilled, health science, and service careers.  Although the career focus of each chapter may be different, every SkillsUSA chapter also provides a unique combination of leadership training, teamwork, citizenship, and character development.  In addition for striving for superior workmanship, SkillsUSA emphasizes community service and patriotism.  Each chapter is lead by Chapter Officers that have been elected by their peers.  To find out about local chapters in your area, contact our office.

At the State and National Level, student officers are elected and receive additional training.

Students are given the opportunity to showcase their abilities by participating in the Arkansas SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference,   Arkansas SkillsUSA State Championships.  The Gold Medal Winners from the State Championships are given the opportunity to compete at the National Leadership Conference and SkillsUSA Championships.   Please take the opportunity to attend and participate in these inspiring events.  Without the support of our Business and Industry partners, these events simply could not happen.
