Barns of Arkansas

Barns of Arkansas

Enjoy the best in the field showcased in this pictorial display of barns from past to present across Arkansas.  Explore the rustic beauty of the Barns of Arkansas with photographs from FFA members, advisors, and friends of agriculture as compiled by Angela Collins.  As a great adventure traveling through Arkansas’ agricultural history for you or as a gift for someone else, this book  will captivate readers with the rich history of barns that dot the  landscape across our state.  From barns built in the 1800’s to present day barns, altogether, we had 298 entries submitted from members of 31 FFA Chapters and 7 individuals.  Agricultural education students and others crisscrossed the countryside exploring for barns and researching their history.   Each barn in the book is special.  Each has its own story to tell.  We hope you will take the time to read each one and enjoy! If you would like to see a few examples of barns, please click here.

Compiled as a special project of the Arkansas FFA Foundation and sponsored by the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, all proceeds from Barns of Arkansas go to the Arkansas Future Farmers of America Foundation to fund activities and scholarships for the Arkansas FFA Association.
